Conceived for speed, the Dolphin 81 One Design is at the same time reliable and easy to handle; her dimensions also mean that she is comfortable and safe enough to be sailed for pure pleasure by a less expert family crew.

Her water lines have been designed to enable maximum racing speed to be reached, possible thanks to the long waterline length (7.30 metres), which is excellent for sailing close-hauled, and to the progression of the hull sections towards the flat stern with its wave form, which encourages “surfing” when sailing before the wind with waves.

The stability of form allows the boat to be maintained within its own waterlines, despite the natural tendency to heel over in beam winds.
